What to bring (and what's already here)
A packing guide for your stay at The Deck, Crescent Head — what we stock, what to bring, and what to skip.
We stock The Deck the way we’d want it stocked when we arrived after a long drive. Here’s what’s already here, what to bring, and what to leave at home.
What’s already here
In the kitchen
- 900mm gas + electric cooktop, full-size fridge with super-freeze, convection microwave
- Dishwasher (with tablets) and a stick vacuum
- Nespresso machine with pods supplied (espresso + lungo), plus a French press and a range of teas

- Toaster, kettle, and proper sharp knives
In the bathroom

- Your dog’s food + bed if they’re particular
- Walking shoes for Hat Head and the headland
- A bottle of wine for the deck — you won’t regret it

What to skip
- Bed linens or towels — all supplied
- Cooking oil, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee — supplied
- Pots, pans, or a wine opener — supplied
- Streaming subscriptions — we have Netflix already logged in (please log out at the end!)

On arrival
Check-in is from 2pm. Keys are in a lock box on the downstairs rail (code is sent the day before arrival). The garage remote is in the lock box too — the garage is a tight squeeze, so let your passengers out before driving in.
Wi-Fi network and password are on a magnet on the fridge.
Trent and Liss are reachable any time via the contact form. We answer in under an hour.
A small request
We’re a real home, not a hotel. Before you leave, please empty the dishwasher and put away the dishes, take the rubbish out to the bins down the bottom of the driveway (yellow general / red recycling / green green-waste), and give the floors a quick run with the stick vacuum. Check-out is by 10am — late check-out is often available, just ask.
